Despite the blistering, almost intolerable heat, I really do love summers in Alabama. I love the perfectly warm nights. I love the lightning bugs and swimming in creeks. I like that even at night you don't need a jacket, and the lake water is like a warm bath...
I think when Drew and I move away from Alabama summer will be one thing I really miss.
